
Blackening Seasoning
(Fish or Chicken)
Ingredients:
1 teaspoons ground paprika
2 teaspoons dried leaf thyme
1 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoons black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper, or to your taste
1/2 teaspoon dried leaf oregano
3/8 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Forgot to mention this is the first time I have made this one so I'll tell you how it came out in a bout 6 hours... Hopefully it'll compliment the Salmon nicely.
ReplyDeleteSo I tried this tonight on Salmon and I'm usually hard on myself about flavors and saying if things came out good or if they were just average. This was great, really gave the salmon a great flavor! I recommend it!
